Best Sports(??) Photo. Ever.

I love this picture. It's another one taken by our esteemed photographer, Mark Going.

Hilarious. Finn and I have analyzed this. You all know 10-11 year old boys think stinky things are quite interesting. Hmmm., who "did it"???

2nd Place in Tournament

The team did a great job at this tournament. Results, Click Here  They played amazingly hard and it showed in the result, playing for the championship in the 5th Grade Gold, Boys Division. We all had such a blast. The coaches and their families are so proud of the Wildcats. Thanks, boys, for a great show!

Coach Dennis says thank you to everyone for a fun weekend all around! Thanks to Nico and Jake's families for the yummy food.

Thanks to Matt Loosemore :-) for taking video, posted below. (The Vimeo links seem to be better quality, but both work.)

We have seen these two at almost every single Laurelhurst Wildcats' game . Big props to Dodge's grandparents for being so supportive of the team. They have been to more games than the Coach's wife and Finn's mom, Janice!! Thanks so much for your support. We love it.

Game 7, 2013 Season, vs. AL NE Fire

LA WILDCATS 40, AL NE Fire 29
Game Date: February 16, 2013

The Wildcats played perhaps their best basketball with an almost flawless (for youth basketball standard) half. Halftime score was 29 -12 and everyone contributed by rebounding, shooting, passing and great defense. The second half was another story as our opponent made some adjustments, playing with more "fire" and forcing the Wildcats into some reckless turnovers. The score tightened up but the victory was never really in doubt as the Wildcats notched another victory.
