WILDCATS 30, AL NE FIRE 19
A solid start to the season as the Wildcats downed the Fire 30 - 19. The game started off slow as the Fire scored the first four points of the game. The Wildcats clamped down on defense and pulled slightly ahead by halftime.
The second half started off strong and by the fourth quarter the Wildcats increased their lead to double digits that was maintained to the end. Coaches Dennis and Marty (Coach Shaylee was home with the flu) were pleased with the results and effort but acknowledged there are many things still to work on. But all in all a solid start.
Rebounds: Luke W. with 7, Logan with 5, and all team members had at least one rebound.
Points scored: Nico and Logan tied for most with 8 pts each, followed by Luke W. with 6 pts. Jake, Adam, Dodge, and Luke B. also scored.
